Supporting Programme
From here on, you can find everything else in the programme around the eight festival productions.
In addition to the eight festival productions, the supporting programme includes everything there is to help you learn more about the plays, the directors and their work. Apart from the festival opening on the 10th of November at 18.30 and the festival closing with the award ceremony on the 13th of November at 22.15 in the Kleines Haus of the Staatsschauspiels, there will also be short introductions before the shows, artists talks live and online, parties, the Fast Forward festival workshop, a project with Ukrainian artists and more – please read on!
ONLY IN GERMAN: SHORT INTRODUCTIONS BEFORE THE PERFORMANCES
These will take place in the foyers approx. 10 minutes before the performance. The introductions will be provided in German only. Please ask our admissions staff where the introduction will take place.
SURTITLES & LIVE INTERPRETING
All our productions will be shown with German and English surtitles or as indicated in the programme. Additional events will be simultaneously translated into German or English unless otherwise indicated.
ARTIST TALKS (live and online)
There will be some artist talks after the shows in the venues and with the audience, some will be recorded and uploaded to the website www.fastforw.art over the four festival days. This is due to the artists’ tight schedules and the full festival diary. In the course of the festival, all artist talks will be online.
FESTIVAL PARTIES
There will be a party every evening with alternating DJs at the Kleines Haus. The DJ will be announced shortly before the festival on the Staatsschauspiel Dresden website, www.fastforw.art and on social media.
