Fast Forward Akademie
Around 100 students from 10 European theatre schools in Germany, Greece, Great Britain, Italy, Austria, Romania, Sweden, Spain and Hungary will visit the events of this year’s festival online and afterwards discuss their impressions, positions and intentions for their own future in sets of two schools. The consequences of the pandemic are being especially felt by the young generation who are still in training or at the beginning of their careers. Lockdown and distancing rules don’t just change the tools with which they can work artistically long-term, but also reduce the possibilities of seeing theatre as an audience. This year’s festival offers the chance to link up again, to make contacts and together to have a look at what others are doing.
